Andrew is an experienced general manager, with extensive experience in sales, marketing, supply chain and logistics. He is the CEO of a £2.5 billion business, 7,000 employees on 40+ sites, but led in a decentralised and entrepreneurial culture.

Andrew worked for Coca-Cola Enterprises in the UK for 12 years, going from graduate trainee to Trading Director during that time. For the last 20 years he has been a senior manager at Bidcorp – a company listed on the Johannesburg stock exchange, and the largest foodservice distribution company in the world, outside of the USA. He operates as CEO of Bidfood in the UK, and also Chairman of the wholesale sector industry body, the FWD. He is also a commissioner on the Food, Farming, and Countryside Commission at the RSA.

Professionally qualified with a MBA, he is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors and has attained accreditation as a Chartered Director, focussing on areas of strategy and corporate governance. He recently was awarded the Grocer Cup by the IGD recognising the individual who has contributed most to the industry over the past year by showing exceptional leadership in inspiring his or her company to achieve results.
